Discover Unique Exhibits at the Science Museum of Minnesota

4Marq apartments are less than ten miles from the most popular museum in the Midwest.

It’s known as the Science Museum of Minnesota, and since 1907, hundreds of thousands of visitors have walked through its doors.

Nestled in St. Paul along the banks of the Mississippi River, the museum spans 370,000 square feet and features indoor and outdoor exhibits and an Imax Convertible Omnitheater.

Highlights include:


This new exhibit features fields, courts, tracks, and gyms that become science labs. Activities include racing a T-rex and professional athletes, comparing your high jump to that of a famous basketball player, and throwing a football to analyze your movements.

The Science Behind Pixar

No matter your age, you will enjoy learning about Pixar’s filmmaking process and exploring the sound and technology that’s used to bring beloved characters to the big screen. This is the exhibit’s Midwest debut, and it’s at the museum for a limited time

Native American Exhibition

The Native American exhibit tells the story of the Dakota and Ojibwe people who called the land home before it became known as Minnesota. The display includes a bison skeleton, birch bark canoes, and jingle dresses.

Dinosaurs and Fossils

Step back in time millions of years to see one of only four real Triceratops on display in the world. The exhibit also includes a Diplodocus and a recreation of an Allosaurus chasing Camptosaurus.
