Residents of 4Marq Apartments can explore a destination that’s home to unique restaurants, diverse shops, and historic treasures. We are talking about St. Louis Park, which is also known for its friendly Midwestern attitude.
Milwaukee Road Depot
St. Louis Park takes its name from the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad. Constructed in 1887, the Milwaukee Road Depot served passengers until 1955 and was located at 36th Street and Alabama Avenue. Eventually, it was donated to the city and moved to Jorvig Park. The depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and tours are available by appointment.
Bluefox Indian Bar & Grill
At Bluefox, the cuisine is based on coastal produce, and the dishes blend sweet, sour, and spicy tastes. The restaurant has been recognized by Mpls. St. Paul Magazine, and features dark bistro tables, picture windows, and unique light fixtures. On the menu, guests find chile chicken, fire garlic shrimp kebobs, spinach paneer, and more.
Miracle Mile Shopping Center
The Miracle Mile boasts it’s a place where shopping and convenience go hand-in-hand. It opened in 1951 and offers an array of shops, services, and restaurants. Choices include Woody’s Furniture, Half Price Books, and Pannekoeken Huis.
Known for offering the best skating around, the Roller Garden has been the top rink in Minnesota for the last 75 years. It features a maple hardwood floor and friendly service, and classes for adults are held throughout the year. They last thirty minutes, and depending on the level, students may learn things such as balance & basics, turns, and waltzing.
